How to paint a front door without brush marks

Painting a front door using a brush, this video shows how to apply paint to a flush. But, I've painted plenty of doors without removing them. Work quickly by rolling on the paint, then use a brush to smooth out the paint and fill in any spots missed by the roller.

Front doors are usually much heavier than interior doors. With the help of my wife, he painted our front door. The color is a magnificent bright red but the finish has many brush strokes. Up close, the door looks horrible.

Our information largely comes courtesy of our recent experience painting our salvaged front door and French doors last summer. I chose to use this to paint the doors so that I'd avoid brush strokes and get. Ever wonder just how to paint a smooth surface without leaving brush marks?

In other words, take down doors or paint trim before installing. Plus, will the door be sprayed or painted with a brush or roller? Finish sanding with 1or 2grit to produce a smooth surface without deep sanding marks.

I want to use a semi-gloss latex enamel on the doors, and trim. What's the best way to paint without having the brush marks showing up after .
